This is a coffee painting, and the concept for this one is, of course, coffee! This exhibition is symbolic of what takes place when people come together over coffee. This painting of a coffee cup symbolizes two good friends "Dabble" in conversation, jumping from topic to topic.

Several years ago, we had a Coffee Art exhibition in Kurrika, Finland. While there, we had a wonderful reception for the opening of our exhibition. During this opening, we noticed a sea of empty stacked coffee cups, waiting to be filled. We loved the repetition and the rhythm of this image in our minds.

This three part series of coffee paintings captures the energy after you have a cup of coffee. It inspires in so many ways, artistically, creatively, energy wise... sometimes you cannot even start your day without that first cup of coffee. You can't even think straight. These paintings hint at the possible energy that transpires from a cup of coffee.
